What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. That is:

• Your name, email address and telephone number
• Your postcode, so we can confirm we cover your area and price travel correctly
• The description of the work you need, and any photographs you choose to attach
• The type of property and your preferred timescale

We do not ask for payment card details through this website. Card payments are handled by a regulated payment provider through a secure link on your invoice, and card numbers are never seen or stored by us.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote

Lawful basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

To carry out and administer work you have engaged us for

Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.

To keep records of quotes, work carried out and invoices

Lawful basis: compliance with our legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the business. That is limited to:

• Our email provider, which delivers quote requests to our inbox
• Our website host, which processes the request in order to serve the site
• Our payment provider, where you choose to pay by card
• Our accountant, and HMRC, for tax and record-keeping purposes
• Anyone we are legally required to disclose information to

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted
• Records of work carried out, quotes and invoices: 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required for tax purposes
• Photographs you send: deleted with the enquiry or job record they belong to

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. No cookie banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to. Your browser may store standard technical data needed to display the site, which we do not use to identify you.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to our processing, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@tonythepropertyservices.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Information sent through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries and job records is limited to those who need it to carry out the work.

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be notified directly where we hold your contact details.
