TV Mounting

Securely mounted screens with fixings chosen for the wall you actually have.

A television comes off the wall for one reason: the fixing was wrong for the wall. Plasterboard on dabs, dry-lined masonry and solid brick all need different treatment, and a bracket that is fine on one will fail on another. We establish what the wall is built from before drilling, and fix into structure wherever possible.

What’s included

  • Fixed, tilting and full-motion TV brackets
  • Wall type assessment and appropriate structural fixings
  • Cable management — trunking or in-wall routing where suitable

Typical jobs

Work of this kind we take on

  • Large screen mounted on a dot-and-dab plasterboard wall
  • Full-motion bracket in a corner or above a fireplace

What to expect

How we approach it

The wall is checked first
We detect cables and pipes, identify the wall build-up, and select fixings rated for the weight. Where a plasterboard wall cannot take the load, we say so and propose an alternative.
Set at the right height
Screen height is set for how the room is actually used, not to a rule of thumb. We check the position with you before anything is drilled.
Cables dealt with properly
Trailing cables are routed through trunking or, where the wall construction allows, behind the plasterboard with proper outlet plates.
