Flat-pack furniture is designed for square rooms and flat floors, which is not what most homes have. Assembling to the instructions and pushing the unit against the wall is how doors end up out of alignment and tall units end up leaning. We assemble square, pack and scribe to the floor and wall, and fix tall or heavy units back to structure.

We also fit units that were never flat-pack — shelving, storage, and cupboards that have to work around pipes, meters and awkward recesses.

What to expect

How we approach it

Assembled square, not just assembled: Carcasses are checked for square before the back is fixed, which is what keeps doors and drawers aligned afterwards.
Secured to the wall: Tall and heavy units are fixed back to structure with fixings suited to the wall. This matters in any home, and particularly where there are children.
Packaging taken care of: Flat-pack generates a lot of cardboard and polystyrene. We break it down and remove it, or stack it for your collection — your choice.
