Wall Panelling

Set out, fitted and finished panelling that follows the room rather than fighting it.

Panelling looks straightforward until you set it out. Rooms are rarely square, skirtings are rarely level, and a design that is simply divided by the wall width will leave an awkward panel in the corner and a visible drift along the run. We measure, set out on paper, and adjust the spacing so the result reads as deliberate.

Panelling is fitted, filled, caulked and decorated as one job, so the finish is continuous rather than a set of parts stuck to a wall.

What’s included

  • Shaker, picture-frame, slat and half-height panelling
  • Set-out and spacing designed to the specific room
  • Fitting to plasterboard, masonry and uneven walls
  • Scribing to skirtings, architraves and out-of-square corners
  • Filling, caulking, priming and final decoration
  • Integration around sockets, switches and radiators

Typical jobs

Work of this kind we take on

  • Bedroom feature wall behind a headboard
  • Hallway and staircase half-height panelling
  • Living room chimney breast
  • Slat panelling as a room divider or media wall
  • Dining room full-height panelling with a moulded rail

What to expect

How we approach it

Designed to the wall
Spacing is calculated from the actual wall dimensions, including how the design meets doors, windows, sockets and the ceiling line.
Fixed and finished as one job
Panels are adhered and pinned, joints filled, edges caulked, then primed and painted. You get a finished wall, not a fitting job to decorate later.
Services stay accessible
Sockets and switches are extended and re-fronted correctly so they sit flush with the new surface and remain safe to use.
